It will cross the Grandes Rousses massif from Bourg d'Oisans or St Sorlin, passing at the foot of the Glacier de l'Etendard and passing close to 12 remarkable lakes, including Lac Blanc, Lac Bramant and Lac de Grand'Maison, with a loop passing at the foot of the Pic de l'Etendard.
