Discover the vertical kilometre and reach the Col du Chaussy. This 100% uphill route will take you from single-track trails to wider paths, from steep slopes to rolling hills. Enough to satisfy all trail runners in their quest for the summit (and the difference in altitude!!).

Leaving from the Tourist Office in the village of Saint Sorlin d'Arves, this route takes you up to the Col de la Croix de Fer on a path that climbs most of the way up, and at certain points passes alongside the waterfall. It's a 5km climb to get used to this type of profile!

Do a double vertical kilometre on this route between the valley and the summit of Grand Coin! 2200 metres of positive vertical drop await you, crossing all the strata of the Alps, from the forested areas at the bottom of the valley to the mountain pastures and mineral areas at altitude. It's a superb, demanding route, but ideal for challenging yourself or for training with a change in altitude.

Climb up to the summit of Grand Truc. The vertical effort of the ascent will be rewarded with a 360° panoramic view of the Villards valley and the Belledonne mountains on one side, and the resorts of La Toussuire and Le Corbier on the other, with the Charvin and the famous Aiguilles d'Arves in the background.

Well-known in the Maurienne valley, this KV will take you from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne town centre to the heights of Jarrier. Short but intense, the ascent is mostly through forest, before reaching the Jarrier mountain pastures.

Make the most of this route to get in some good uphill training, with a climb of over 900m+. You'll set off from the village of Saint Sorlin d'Arves (tourist office) to reach the summit of Ouillon, the highest pasture in Europe. Here you'll enjoy a 360° panorama with the Mont Blanc range, the Aiguilles d'Arves and the Belledonne massif in the background.
