Between the limestone plateaus of the causse, the winding valleys of the Lot and Célé rivers, and charming heritage villages, the routes of the new Grand-Figeac Trail Area reveal breathtaking and unexpected landscapes.
From 10 trailheads, including Cajarc, Marcilhac-sur-Célé and Larroque-Toirac, everyone can set off on a variety of routes to discover the region in a different way—heart pounding, step by step. Along the trails, you'll uncover the area's rich natural and cultural heritage: cirques, cliffs and rivers, heritage treasures, caves, hilltop castles, houses clinging to the cliffsides, medieval settings, and traditional dry-stone walls...
All 20 routes are waymarked, accessible year-round, and suitable for every level, from beginners to experienced trail runners. Designed to be as inclusive as possible, the Grand-Figeac Trail Area also offers several routes adapted to different types of disabilities, spread across the region.
