Know the terrain before you get there


When you automatically plot your route using IGN or OpenStreetMap maps, the terrain types are retrieved—based on your choice—from either the IGN or OSM database.

Once your route is complete, you can easily display these terrain types directly on the map, as well as on the elevation profile. This gives you a clear overview of the sections of road, trail, track, or off-trail, helping you better anticipate difficult segments or monotonous parts where you might want to speed up.

If you create your route by importing a GPX file, you can also add terrain types:

If the terrain type from the database is incorrect or doesn’t reflect reality, you have the option to manually edit it.
