In 2026, the WTR will make its debut in one of the most iconic regions of Brazilian trail running with the inaugural WTR Agulhas Negras, set against a backdrop that blends history, high altitude, and technical challenges. The race will take place on June 27 and 28, between the municipalities of Itatiaia and Resende, deep in the Mantiqueira Mountain
