The Monte Amaro Extreme is a mountain running race of 30km and 2400mt d+. The departure is in the very center of the town, Fara San Martino, after a stretch of just over a kilometer inside the town you are immersed in the Maiella National Park, a UNESCO GeoPark site for environmental biodiversity. You enter the park thanks to the gorges of San Mart
