The Wadi Rum Ultra is a 5 day 260km stage race through the Jordanian desert. It is one of the toughest footraces on earth with 100% of the course being on sand and over rock. Temperatures can reach 35 degrees C. Competitors sleep in Bedouin tents each night and eat dehydrated food for the week. On the 4th stage, competitors must travel 80km in under 20 hours.
