The race was born in 2015. It is hosted by the Salomon Ultra-Trail Hungary, in the beautiful town of Szentendre (an unesco world heritage city) located just half an hour away from Budapest. The finish is in the downtown area by the bank of the danube river. The race course goes through the green heart of hungary in the Pilis and Visegrad mountains
