The run is on trails in the neighborhood of Hafnarfjordur. The race starts and ends at the Asvellir sports center. The course takes runners to Astjorn, Hvaleyrarvatn, Storhofdi and Hofdaskogur and back to Asvellir. The run is also offered as 14 and 17.5 km
