Trail runningAn Ultramarathon covering 40 miles of the Peak District in the UK. Taking in a loop starting and finishing in Buxton, the race takes in some of the best trails around, covering 150m/5900ft of Elevation.
The first edition of the High Peak 40 was run in 1986, supported by a local company called Otters Controls. Run every year since (except for 2000)
