Circuit in eight is perfect to progress in nature! This short and easy route is also perfect for discovering the trail with your family in a very pleasant setting.

The advice of the coaches of the club Running in Nyons to play with the field

  • The first phase of 2 km starts on a monotrace followed by zigzag hills, a descent (watch out for stones!) and an easy climb then descend. You can alternate different tempo by following the relief or put landmarks to force oneself to accelerate or slow down on sections determined in advance. You can also do this first loop in endurance or race speed
  • The second part begins with a steep hill in monotrace where you can alternate running and fast walking. This section can also be done with a a hiking stick. You can also climb as fast as possible and continue on this pace to return to the starting point.. Last variant: put yourself in chair position (against a tree) on 20 or 30'' then leave quickly in the coast before going down slowly. On the descent as on the last small gentle ascent, you can train to vary your tempo, watch where you put your feet with your eyes forward, or you can choose to lay back calmly.

The + of the workshop

  • It is a route that you can also do quietly to discover the trail with all its specificities condensed on this small distance: flat, coast, 4x4 path, road, monotrace, pebbles, at the speed you want.
  • Enjoy a superb view of the Ventoux, Cougoir, Angèle and Gapençais.
  • It is a great circuit to enjoy the freshness because there's a three degrees of difference compared to the center of Nyons...
