Modify a track
From a track's page, the menu "Actions" allows you to go to the page for modifying your track.
On this page, you can :
- Add points of interest
Go to this specific page to know more about adding points of interest.
- Modify or complete all the description elements available on create a track in “expert mode”.
Note ! If you modify the colour or the thickness of the line of your track from the lateral bar which presents the list of layers, you can keep this choice in the memory by saving the description of your track.
- Change the geometry of your track with the tools described below.
Modify the points
This tool allows you to add, move or delete a summit from you track.
Note ! If you zoom sufficiently with this tool activated, each of the points on your track will be visible !
To move a point, simply place your cursor on the point and move it. To add a point, proceed in the same way, as if you want to move a point which doesn't exist : this will in effect create a point !
Lastly, to delete a point, simply click on it.
Short circuit the track
This tool allows a section of the route to be replaced by another, traced manually. To do this, trace a line which cuts your track twice, then double click to launch the replacement of the track between the two intersections.
Note ! By tracing a line which only cuts your track at one point, you can easily change the start or finish of the route !
Reverse the track
Trim the track
Note ! Combine this tool with the reverse track tool to trim the track “at the beginning” !
Once the geometry has been changed, you can generate a new profile before saving your track. You can also take the advantage of modifying the minimum and maximum altitudes on your profile, as well as the appearance of the points of interest on the latter. This information can equally be modified then saved without updating the profile.
