Starting from the magnificent Halle du Faouët (16th century), you quickly leave the village to follow the paths under forest cover, in the direction of the Chapelle Ste Barbe. After 1.5km of flat paths, the route will take you to the Chapel straight down the slope! A beautiful ascent full of charm will allow you to quickly reach the Chapelle Sainte Barbe, nestled on the heights of the town of Le Faouët, in a green setting at the foot of steep rocks. The time to enjoy this remarkable heritage, you will then descend to the banks of the Ellé, a river at the bottom of a valley which you will follow for more than a kilometre, in an exceptional setting. You will then go back up on the plateau, passing by the ruins of the castle of Barregant and then the hamlet of the same name. You will then return to the Faouët by a succession of paths and tracks, in a bocage setting. The last kilometer will be done by the outward journey.
